Vini Fabretti directed, created the concept for, and produced two immersive rooms at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Museum. This museum, with its immersive and technological focus, details all the construction and execution processes of the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. The audacious two-year project involved the production of the "Getting in the Mood" and "Olympic Euphoria" rooms, which were completed in the second half of 2025.
The "Getting in the Mood" room consists of a space with a mapped arch shape and walkways with 14 projectors. The concept is to display pre-Olympic Rio de Janeiro, highlighting the city's visual appeal and sports culture. The "marvelous city" was already Olympic even before the Games began.
The "Olympic Euphoria" room is an L-shaped space mapped with 12 projectors and 4 sensors. It's a tribute to Olympic gymnastics and the Olympic energy that resides in all of us—the energy of sport and community. The room uses various sensors that, together, form a sensor mesh on the floor and walls to track the movements of people entering the room. The interactive elements and creative programming were developed by Gustavo Milward and Arthur Boeira.
